The T8 4Ft 18W G13 LED Grow Light Lamp is a specialised linear LED tube designed specifically for indoor plant and horticultural lighting rather than conventional room illumination.
Its spectrum delivers photons within key photosynthetically active regions. It produces 4.5 µmol/s in the 400–500nm range and 18.9 µmol/s in the 600–700nm range, with a total photosynthetic PPF of 27 µmol/s.
The lamp operates at 230V, uses a standard G13 bi-pin base, and measures approximately 1200mm long and 25mm in diameter. Rated operating life is approximately 15,000 hours.
As a dedicated grow lamp, lumens and conventional colour temperature are not the appropriate primary performance measurements. PPF and spectral output provide a more meaningful indication of the light available to plants for photosynthesis.
