The T8 2Ft 18W Blacklight Blue Fluorescent Lamp is a specialist ultraviolet fluorescent tube designed to produce UV-A radiation at approximately 360nm rather than conventional white illumination.
The lamp uses a standard G13 bi-pin base and T8 construction measuring approximately 26mm in diameter and 600mm in length. Radiant’s lamp catalogue specifies an approximate 5,000-hour rated life for this model.
Its Blacklight Blue construction is designed to emphasise fluorescent and UV-reactive materials. This makes it suitable for specialist applications such as stage and entertainment effects, fluorescence inspection, authentication and detection equipment, industrial inspection and chemical imaging.
