PVC cable gland shrouds are designed to assist with weatherproofing and to protect the gland body from dirt and other foreign matter. The PVC shrouds are used to increase the protection against external chemical and environmental agents of cable glands, specially on cable entrance. The significative reduction of dirt or foreign substances on the cable gland will facilitate the future maintenance of cable glands.
