What it is
The Eurolux G44CW T5 2Ft 8W G5 LED Lamp is a slim linear LED tube designed as an energy-efficient upgrade for compatible T5-style lighting installations.
Operating at 230V, the lamp consumes only 8W while producing approximately 800 lumens of useful light. Its 4000K Cool White colour temperature provides a clean, neutral-white appearance well suited to commercial, task, cabinet, retail and general-purpose lighting.
The lamp uses a G5 bi-pin base and measures approximately 550mm long × 18.4mm diameter. An opal diffuser helps distribute the LED output across a broad 180° beam angle, reducing the harsh point-source appearance associated with exposed LEDs.
Importantly, this is a 230V LED tube and not a plug-and-play fluorescent replacement. Eurolux states that installation should be performed by a qualified electrician because the lamp is not a direct T5 fluorescent retrofit. Existing fluorescent control gear may therefore need to be bypassed or the fitting appropriately rewired according to the lamp and fitting requirements.
